In the present study, an Enhanced SSA (ESSA) has been proposed where parameter of technique, which balances exploration and exploitation phases, modified. Additionally, variable scaling factor is engaged to regulate salp’s position during search procedure minimize random movement salps. To demonstrate effectiveness enhanced (ESSA), a set multimodal test functions are engaged. The statistical outcomes that ESSA profits from local optima evasion quick convergence speed, aids algorithm outclass standard other recent algorithms. fair analysis displays delivers very promising results current methods. Next, frequency control power systems executed by designing Combined Fuzzy PID (CFPID) controller with projected method. Partially Distributed CFPID (PD-CFPID) designed for distributed system (DPS). It shown method outclasses in engineering problems. also noted ESSA-based PD-CFPID scheme become more operative monitoring than similar structured centralized fuzzy as well controller. Finally, equated various uncertain situations validate benefit approach.
